A 3-head cassette deck that inherits the design concept of the V series.
The V-Series uses a center-mount system, in which the tape travel mechanism is placed in
the center with high structural and visual stability, eliminating uneven weight distribution and
significantly reducing the occurrence of chassis distortion.
In addition, by being positioned away from the legs, it is difficult for external vibrations to be
transmitted, and we have built a mechanism that has little effect.
The head section is equipped with a PCOCC-wound cobalt-amorphous recording and playback
combination 3 heads.
By taking advantage of the amorphous non-crystalline structure and laminating it into 14 layers,
eddy current losses are suppressed and high-frequency characteristics are improved. In addition,
in order to suppress slight distortion and transmission loss in the head section that handles
minute signals, the internal winding is made of 99.997% pure PCOCC (single-crystal high-purity
oxygen-free copper), which has a reputation as a high-efficiency transmission material.
The head base is made of zinc alloy die-casting, which reduces modulation noise by
suppressing the impact of vibration on the head part. In addition, by accurately positioning the
head, the azimuth angle, high-frequency characteristics, and phase characteristics are
maintained with high accuracy over a long period of time.
The mechanism part is equipped with a single capstan system.
Precise etching of the capstan achieves a reliable tape grip.
It is equipped with an anti-static cassette stabilizer, which strongly crimps and loads the entire
cassette half to thoroughly eliminate harmful micro-vibrations.
In addition, the arm has a two-layer structure of 2 mm thick aluminum, and the cassette holder
is made of a 1.6 mm thick steel plate to increase rigidity to create a vibration-resistant structure
that suppresses resonance and prevents deflection and deformation of the holder part.

to prevent dropouts and tape damage by attracting dust around the head by charging the

The amplifier uses a two-supply, direct-coupling all-stage mono all-DC amplifier to eliminate
interference between the left and right channels.
In addition, the head amplifier is also a FET differential input DC amplifier that eliminates the
input coupling capacitor, which greatly improves the noise characteristics in the low frequency
range and improves the frequency response over the entire band.
By reducing the number of wires in the circuit as much as possible and adopting the shortest
path design, the deterioration of sound quality and noise interference due to the routing of
the wires are suppressed.
In particular, the recording volume and the input terminal are directly connected, and the
input signal is sent directly to the line amplifier.
A large power transformer is used for the power supply section, and interference is suppressed
by making the mechanism system and the recording and reamplifier system completely
independent of the transformer winding.
Each circuit part adopts a layout separated by an internal chassis, and the input, control, amplifier,
display, and mechanism parts are completely shielded, so that each section can be electrically
controlled from each other. It eliminates physical interference.
In addition to the dedicated chassis for the mechanism section, an independent side chassis and
a center chassis that connects the front and rear parts are adopted, and it is firmly assembled
on top of a heavyweight bottom chassis that supports the entire bottom. In addition, high rigidity
is achieved by firmly integrating the front and rear panels and the inverted U-shaped top panel.
